# AQ on your phone

> How AQ works on a phone: the mobile web app with Home, Work, Genie and You, threads, previews and terminals, and the iPhone app in beta with push.

AQ works in any phone browser. Sign in at aq.dev and you get four tabs: Home (the composer, with Chat, Build and Bot), Work (your chats, bots and projects), Genie, and You (usage, subscriptions, machines and settings). Every thread opens with its transcript, answer dock, preview and terminal.

## What works on a phone

- Start any kind of thread, pick the agent and repository, attach files and dictate.
- Answer questions, approvals and plan gates from the Needs you cards.
- Read the diff, comment on lines, and merge from the pull request card.
- Open the live preview and the terminal.

## The iPhone app (beta)

The iPhone app is in beta. On top of the web app it adds push notifications for every AQ notification (agent questions arrive as time-sensitive), one Live Activity for all your running work, widgets, a Share extension, Point and Markup on the preview to send what you see to the agent, a native Changes screen, a terminal with a coding toolbar, and Genie voice where it is enabled.

## Same work everywhere

The phone and the desktop open the same workspaces; agents run on the machine, so nothing depends on which device you are holding. Product overview: [AQ on your phone](https://aq.dev/product/mobile/).
